Liriope muscari 'Silvery Sunproof' – Variegated Lilyturf

Brighten garden edges with striped foliage and lavender flowers from 'Silvery Sunproof' Lilyturf.

Liriope muscari 'Silvery Sunproof' is a clump-forming, grass-like perennial, not a true ornamental grass. Arching leaves striped in green and creamy yellow bring lasting contrast to borders, while lavender-purple flower spikes rise among the foliage in summer. Repeat its tidy mounds along a walkway, tuck it beneath open-canopied shrubs, or pair it with dark-leaved plants in a mixed container. More sun-tolerant than many variegated lilyturfs, it still benefits from afternoon shade in hot climates and evenly moist, well-drained soil. Foliage is evergreen in mild climates but may show winter damage in colder locations.
